Les knows how to build them.
I just had to learn how to do the maintenance correctly.
I wasn't getting the performance I thought I should from the CanAm, though even at subpar performance it was still giving great results.
I realized I needed to secure the throttle from backing off/relaxing when I gave it full revs. WHen it would back off I would loose a few hundred RPM which made it bog down under load. Now she's full bore with a slight drop.
My heat was off too. I thought it was because of my flow (15), I was barely maintaining 180. So I pulled the boiler ring, cleaned the jet holes, and then CENTERED it. (This is what I think was the main problem before, I had it a little off center)
NOW I'm hitting just under 240F with 15 flow at 600psi and its not even maxed out. Right where Les said it would be.
Thanks Les.
