No shut-offs? When my tank gets full a toilet bowl type float rises and shuts the water off so no overflow. Although sometimes it does still dribble some and I had to replace it about a year ago, $5 float from hardware store and some wd40 and it's been good to go ever since.

Saw that done with a porty on wall to wall wool. Of course the carpet was jute backed. Took a return trip to fix the cellulosic browning on that puppy.

Okay some local carpet cleaner calls and says he just had a flood at his house.

Apparently he was in his garage filling his water tank from the hose .

And at a moment in time he gets a call from a customer.

While his tank is filling he goes into his office all the while talking.

He books the job and decides to go take a nap.

He wakes up about an hour and 15 minutes later hearing water rushing thru his pipes.

At first he thought it was his toilet just running on but as he looked in every room and checked his basement he finally went into ....................the.......garage.

And to his amazement he had forgot to shut off the hose to his water tank and it was overflowing all down the driveway!

He said he felt so stupid and said not to tell his wife.

I will never do that again!

So.....who was out there pumping that well water pump while this cleaner was sleeping?? His Mudder-inlaw? Isn't all of Nebraska hand-pumped well water???
