Turning cat pump down to 200 psi

My cat pump has a stop at a little over 300 psi. Would it hurt the system to bring the stop to allow 200 psi?. Max470.

No, it won't hurt anything.

The main thing is to be sure that if you screw the pressure regulator "out" that far, that it doesn't come apart when you do.

Other than that, go for it.
