Having said led oil fired units for years, and having a local Steamway distributor in my neighborhood till some years back, there is a generational love for oil fired units in my market.
The El Diablos I’ve sold are easy to maintain, nearly trouble free, and the surely deliver the heat.
Sorry Jim, I had to dislike...
The El Diablos that I have been dealing with ...let's just say, not issue free.
One of them had a complete coupler explosion at 3 minutes into it's very first job...good thing masterblend was a half hour drive away there so I could drive it right away back to them and had them reinstall/realign the motor and blower.
400hrs...needed the Roots replaced..complete interior failure of the blower.
700hrs..needed a complete CAT rebuild.
900hrs...needed a brand new Honda engine installed.
1700hrs...needed the entire diesel burner coil replaced. It blew out the old coil and dumped the water in the middle of a 100000sqft job.
1900hrs...the stainless waste water tank failed and started leaking in a couple places. (10 year warranty my a$$..they never cared to replace it and literally told me to find some guy to weld it. Well before it reached 10 years of course)
