And today, unbeknownst to me, they had me out to clean what they thought was " just old tile" with pretty spectacular results, on odd house on 8 acres in a very uncommon Nevada setting, that should sell for a few million...

So why did you or Moniqua turn down the carpet but not the tile?
Did you end up cleaning the carpet after all?
Nice house. Was it a long trip to get there?

I turned it down.
Is 30 plus years old and worn down and faded and out of style and anybody that buys a multi-million dollar home is going to rip it out it's just not at that offensive level where it's going to kill the deal.

In their new home it was even more worn out with severe staining and they still had a week and a half to replace it.

The old "Seirra Slope" is less than 15 minutes from my house.

Most likely some large family or corporation will buy it do a major remodel and use it as their affordable Tahoe getaway home but it's going to need a full time groundskeeper, snow pusher, concierge sort of person.
