I have been using another very excellent product (Unleashed) but at $30/gallon, I have to be careful how often.

So I sprang for a gallon of U-Turn. The instructions seem clear. However, with all the accumulated wisdom and experience on this board, what applications, cautions or innovative suggestions do you think would help me make the best use of U-Turn?

I got it a few years ago. For specific job.
Not sure why I am contributing(or not LOL!) cause I am not sure I utilized it correctly. Had a couple of rugs . Someone I know. I don't usually do rugs. Thought it would be a good experiment/learning experience.
Then I also used it (they told me it was used in their operation like this) out on installed crap carpet. Used it as a soak with a w. claw. I still ended up throwing other stuff at it.

Sure hope it ages well like wine!!! as I still have some left sitting at home in the laundry room. And at the price it better get better with age.!!!lol

What is the application?

The concentrate is designed to mix one ounce (or for severe situations, two ounces) of U-Turn with a gallon of water to make it ready to use. Completely saturate the contaminated area. Allow dwell time of 30 minutes or more, then completely rinse and extract. That works out to be $1-2 dollars for a RTU gallon. Not expensive like some would lead you to believe.

It was designed and tested years ago with the in-plant rug washer in mind. However my other company, and others that do in home wall to wall carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning, uses it topically with great odor management results. But we make no guarantees to completely eliminate odor with these in home situations to the customer. (Our 100% guarantee for odor removal is for in-plant rug care only with my other area rug cleaning company) On location we are often knocking the odor out when we are able to get to the source adequately. In this environment, we deploy the ready to use product hot with a hydro-force.

I hope this helps. Please do not hesitate to call personally: 734.260.5038

Tom, thank you for your answer. I have urine cleaning in mind, in residential as well as the occasional rug.

Are there things I should beware of?
Other than Marty's monosyllabic advice, that is.

Must deploy to the source. It will break it down on a molecular level and then flush.
