furniture takes me a good amount of time and i dont like it. i just price it so if they say yes i have to like it. :roll:

Price it so you make top dollar an hour.

I try to get $200 an hour and in most cases get it while the help does the carpet.


But then again I own a Worlds Most Powerful Upholstery Cleaning Machine.

My back, knees and hands don't like upholstery cleaning. I think that is the main compliant for most. I do upholstery cleaning, but its not my favorite thing. :roll:

I prefer cleaning it to carpet cleaning, generally homeowners treat their upholstery better than they do their carpet.

It's usually easier to clean than carpet and it should be priced at a premium so that you're making more per hour cleaning upholstery.

It is also not nearly as price competitive, easier to get what you want per hour because not everyone cleans upholstery.

I used to hate it, then I raised my prices to force me to like it (and I still hated it). This board helped me to now not mind it. I bought the multi sprayer to speed up production vs. I used to use a small hand pump sprayer (took forever). Then someone on here mentioned to bring a foldable table to clean the pillows :idea: (less back break). I do dislike cleaning upholstery over hardwood floor, just because of the extra set up involved of covering the floor and being more mindful of the over spray. I now prefer cleaning with the Prochem upholstery tool with glide vs. the older version of drimaster. Thanks MB
