Has anyone ever show up to a customers home to do a sofa, chair, or sectional and look at it and say to your self, there's no way will I attempt to clean this piece?
Either for being extremely dirty or stained like hell from pets or humans.

I told them I needed to wash the couch outside due to how bad it was above. I soaked it with my HF

Yes last year arrived couldn't find front door due to uncut trees and bushes. Looked at sofa was velvet at one time the black grease was so bad I thought the sofa was a black sofa nope the inside if the house was the same. I just said that I couldn't clean it. He said it was 25 yrs old and was never cleaned and they don't use the air . The temp outside was 95 and high humidity. I left jungle Larrys house. On to the next job. First time i ever walked away .

It’s been like 20 years ago when cotton and jute furniture fabric was more common. I bought a dry solvent cleaning machine and I might as well have been offering Mikey advice no more good than it did.

PB ultimate? Had one. Not much of a cleaning machine. That is right up there with the steamin demon for wasted money.

Actually, they worked well if used properly. When using solvent, vent it outside. Was pretty decent of drapes with the double boiler system. I sold my last one a few years ago to some guy in California. I wonder if that may have been Papa John?

Biggest thing was not venting it outside. Some cleaners would fill an entire home with solvent fumes. Others thought it was great for large jobs. There was a local guy tried to clean a BC ferry with one. Only tried once. Their tools were pretty good. The heater wasn't bad for the water based cleaning. The solution pump was expensive to replace. You could do some decent work with it. I believe Hunter Douglas used to spec that machine for some of their blinds.
