Looking to get a new upholstery tool. Guy wants to sell a sapphire upholstery tool used 30-40 times for $250. Is this a good deal?

The SS has made me multiples of that....
Quality tool, makes upholstery easy, and very profitable...

make sure its the clear shell/had version and not the old blue opaque model

I don't think there is any difference in performance from the blue to the clear, as far as I know. It's just you can see through one an not the other.

This is true. I do believe you can order the clear top shell if that’s desired.
I really like mine for the obvious reason of being able to see the soiling being removed.

I used to HATE cleaning upholstery till I got the SS tool. Still dont like it but it is much easier, especially no overspray and you can control it either by trigger or continuous flow.

About the clear cover, I had a customer watch me clean her recliner (another thing that drives me up the wall as I am not there to entertain them) say that she was impressed at how much soil I was removing because she could see it through the clear cover.
