Do you get annoyed when customers "prepare" but only make things worse? You know...the classics - move couch, chairs, and everything they can find right into the worst areas where you really want to vacuum and prespray/scrub.. And now you get to move everything just one extra time.

And they want to prohibit that you move this vase (because it's like $10grand)...that they already put out of the way....but now it's sitting on top of a chest and will no doubt get accidentally knocked down to shatter into 3.5 million pieces when you're moving around with your wand and hoses.


Yes I get annoyed and say: the customer isn't always right. 😁

You need to discuss furniture moving when booking the job


I generally ask that they only pick up personal items.. Papers clothes underwear magazines and small knick knacks and never ask furniture to be moved.

Oh My Gawd, that’s jumping off that stand. Pull stroke, hose brushing up against it, you name it. As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve paid for a vase with a short a. They’re always 10k when you break it!! We didn’t break it carpet cleaning, backed into it vacuuming.

I broke one grooming. It was only $400. Sometimes you have to ask them not move the furniture.

I love the ones where your supposed to clean the upstairs bedrooms, main floor and lower level but when you get there they tell you to start in the basement because the wife is still getting ready for work.

Yep!

And she need the van moved because she parked in the garage...

Or worse... They tell ya to let them out an hour into the job, ugggg. I asked four times if anyone needs to go anywhere...
