on the subject a supply room the guy( John Middleton ) when you click on his link to his web site u get there and then avg takes over there is a virus connected to his site beware guys --www.carpetpro.co.nz -

Damn Gary, if his server has been hacked it is most likely not something he is aware of or even knows how to fix. :?

Before you go and make a knee jerk reaction Gary, you might do well to actually read some of the info John posts and you would quickly realize that he is one of the quality posters, both here on MB and on a few other boards as well.

I have known John for many years, I guarantee that he has no idea about it. He runs a VERY professional operation over in NZ, and it would be suicide for him to direct not only us forum members to his site, but also his clientele that would no doubt visit his site after getting a business card from him that has his website on there. Nothing like sabotaging your clients is there :roll:

I will give him a call to let him know though none the less to let him know about it if he already doesn't.

I've called my IT guy and the site is being taken down as I write.

Gary, I hope your comments are tounge in cheek :roll:

Second time in the past 3 months this has happened. Maybe it's tall poppy syndrone, or just pure coincidence.

My IT guy believes it's due to me using an old version of DreamWeaver 8 and now has too many loop holes in it. I'll swap over to a more robust system and hopefully beat whoever it is that's getting kicks out of doing it.
