What methods are you using for viscose rugs.
Smear a little Fringe Plus on the pile and use a Dri-Master or new MyTee upholstery type tool to rinse and extract.
I met one of Ottawas finest rug cleaners today. He said to be careful with reducers as they will turn Viscose a purple tinge. This can be corrected.
Yes it was. Great guyWas that Murray?
We hace used dry compound but doesn't work well on badly soiled/stained rug. Also we have shampooed with prochem foam solvent shampoo using cold water. Hot water seems to cause vicose to mat to the point you can't groom it out. Most viscose rugs are cheap and I agree they are garbage can material but some people insist on having them cleaned. We do only at the customers risk. Some people are doing a full immersion clean' any comments on that?
YES! Take a stroll through the Restoration Hardware site to see an abundance of rayon product selling for $6k and up.Aside from a rug that may have belonged to Elvis, or something...are there Viscose rugs with a value per square foot that exceeds the price to "properly" clean/restore, if it is badly soiled or urine soaked?
