With two shows in town at once, Surfaces and icee, I know lots of MBr's will be in town.

I'll be working at Surfaces doing cleaning demos on behalf of Sapphire and The Experience twice a day so I doubt I'll have the time to walk the other show so how about we do a group dinner on Thursday

John and Lora Olsen, Lockhart, Bryan Thompson (SS), Paula and I will be at Firefly at 8PM...

well, actually the Experience provides 13 hours of trade show hours compared to ICEE's 10.

No big deal but why not have the show run from 9 to 5?

Are all those empty class slots going to get filled?

That's ICE is open 11 hours over 2 days. Or the experience 13 hours over 3 days.

So for all that extra expense of experience you get 2 hrs extra.

But no biggie. I don't know why the hours are set like that . My best guess would be the closing time on Friday is to help exebitors beat union over time costs. ask bill how much it costs sapphire to set up and take down the booths.

Oh don't go to the rob Allen school of people counting. That's beneath you. I've been to both shows and see how many people are at them .

There was a great turn out last year . And as far I know more attendees have signed up this year then last.

As to empty classes . Which ones did you go to last year that where empty.
So are you gonna come down and have a pint. I,ll be in Vegas tues thru sat.

Anyways, lots of empty space on the class blocks for this upcoming show. Last year they were all filled, hence my question.


My only time to get away would be Friday morning. But I'd only have an hour and a half to walk the show and one good conversation would screw any chance of me seeing why this show is supposedly "so different"..

I'm not trying to be biased . Just trying to bring some balance to your statements about an event you have never attended . Going by hearsay and conjecture is more the style of your good friend Allen .

I'm not giving any of the classes this year . So I really don't know about the class blocks. But each year the classes have been very well attended so I don't see why this year would be different. Maybe they just haven't updated the web site.

I don't think surfaces will collapse if your not there for an hr or 3. Shitttt even the Issa show made it without you there. And you never know WHO you might meet . .........well maybe you do. Lol

Just registered John and Brian for ICE, booked the flights and hotel. They are flying in Wednesday and leaving Saturday.
