Finally found the remaining bug on my HX system. It was intermittent problem causing exhaust diverter to disengage. Only way to re-engage was to shut down the entire truck for a few minutes then re-start. Weird huh?
So, I bypassed the temperature controller by installing a simple on/off switch. Problem solved!
For pre-treating I turn the switch Off, for cleaning switch On. Works great!
It would be nice to replace the controller with new except JonDon charges nearly $300 for the part.
Anyone got a good source for replacement temp controllers? Actually, been playing with idea of upgrading to digital. Is that practical?
