I encounter enough low-light conditions that carrying a small flashlight is standard practice.

I would like to find an alternative to sticking the light in my mouf while wanding as I am not too fond of the taste of plastic.

I am hoping to find an adjustable LED light that can be attached to a 2" wand.

@rick imby

Maybe a bike light that will fit 2"tube?

This is a Matco light sold under a different name... It has the Matco name scratch off under the new badge they put on.. The light is super bright, slim, lasts long on a charge and is half the cost from buying it from the Matco truck...

The compactness and brightness of it is very hard to beat... but you'd have to figure out how to how to attach it to our aluminum/titanium wands...

Looking for a small compact unit with an adjustable clamp mount.

I had the same thought about mounting a light to the wand. So I attached one to the head. I didn't like it. It made more shadows that made cleaning the carpet hard because I couldn't see if it were clean.

I suggest getting a flashlight strap to go over your head. Try the NiteIze head strap.

Groomer;

You might look at using a LED Headlamp, attaching it to the wand barrel. It would easily be adjustable.

Dan bought an emergency light that is battery that will light up the whole room. I think it was under $300.00 with spare batteries and charger too???

The legs spread out while in use. I can't remember how long the battery lasts I thought 4-5- hours.

This way you won't look like such a dork.....truth? You'll still look like a dork, but now in a well lit room. :winky:

Bike lights don't normally adjust side to side and to adjust them up and down they roll on the handlebar. YouHowever the Outside dimension on a handlebar is between 22.2mm and 31.6mm---for you English measurement relics that is 7/8" to 1 1/4. You probably need lateral adjustment putting them on an angled wand. If your handle is wide enough for your hand and a light you could mount one on the handle. Or you could mount another handle lower and mount the light to that.

I was going to suggest a headlight but then I realized that might mess up that infamous Goomer Hair--Doo.

Like Larry susggested another adjustable handle on your wand and then attaching a bike light to that. I would mount the light upside down which keeps them from moving as much and might protect it from getting bashed around as much..
