Hi guys:

I have used several sets of glides from my good buddy Bill Cavert. We now have a cheap 2" wand that I could not find them for, so I tried the lips....... for about 10 minutes.

I tried both goop, and then polyurethane. Any suggestions?

Also, lets say I get them to stay on; does anybody shave the inside so as to open the slot a bit?

Thx,
Dale

Get some stainless steel lips/glides from Jon-Don.

I put some on a older wand and they work great!

Greenie:

I think it's the same as a "big Boy" but it is only 11.25". The metal tape is holding the lips, as the glue dries, for the 3rd time.

Walrus:

What is the advantage of JonDons' s.s. glides over factory wand "lips"?

Thx,
Dale

Like Lisa said, AMFQJ

If you choose a full size glide for it, you will want a set of jet manifold spacers, we make them here.

I have not had much luck with thin teflon lips on the AMF wands Dale, the regular glides perform so much better I just never gave it much attention to be truthfull.
