Trigger is parallel to the vacuum pipe and not the handle.

It needs to more like some of the posters here.

It needs to be fully bent  in order to be triggered.

Ooroo

you guys have good eyes.
All I see is the solution line coming into the valve from the side vs: the rear.
single bend wand with a quirky angle. Is that a clear sight window on teh head?

Jeff you might be right after all it is a C-EXTRACTA

Don't see no power cord if it were a power head or brush of some sort. don't really look like a drag wand either.

Cool, 70's retro.

It looks like the first portable I cleaned with, except mine was red. I guess it pays to hang on to the left over parts.

I used to clean with these Extracta machines for 22 years.
That wand has a mild steel tube which is chrome plated andas such can rust on the inside and cause fluff to stick and build up. The head is 12" wide cast aluminium and it has a scrub brush fitted to the rear. They are awkward and heavy.Extracta have been a main player in the UK for about 30 years although they dont seem to update their equipment so much these days.

That pic right there is an advertisement for WHY you need a hide-a-hose at least 10' long, no brass touching the fabric.

Why those lil' 5-6' footers are sold I don't even know.
