The Law of Compensation
Your income is determined by how many people you serve and how well you serve them.

And if you have figured out how to charge what you are worth...

Triangles hide imperfections in traffic areas and wear patterns especially in polyester carpet.

Illusions I like to call them.

To get the facts straight I don't always do the 4 step method with my wand but in certain instances I do.

And some times in very clean homes I will only do a pull back drag wand style with one dry stroke.

And behind furniture........then do my 4 step method in the middle of the rooms.

Use this stroke here and then switch to another stroke over there.

It's a sign of a true professional : )

Yes I will groom out my foot prints. And I just use a soft bristled push broom. Drag it back and it works great.

I do what fits the job, what gets it clean....and what makes it look the best....on a crappy carpet V patterns help sometimes hide the wear patterns....this works the best for PM type work ,as the people in general automatically think V's= clean.
I ask my customers what they prefer V or groomed and do what they want....I really don't care either way..it is cleaned to my best ability groomed or not groomed.
I have one amazing customer She has a large two level home, she calls us out about every two months, she does not vacuum....when the V's are gone she calls.....she LOVES the V's.....I love the checks

In that case, never encapsulate her carpet, cause the triangles will be crystallized in. She'll never have to call you back :winky:

I groomed it for her one time, she called me back paid to re clean it and leave the shark tooth pattern, her husband came out and said she loves the dam triangles...." Thats all she talks about" there are really nice folks, he jokes with me all the time when I'm cleaning....one time he walked by and tossed a ball and the dog ran all over my nicely triangulated carpet and just laughed, as he walked by he said gotcha and handed me a 20.00 dollar bill.
Just super nice people, they have gotten me three of there neighbors houses to clean....I wish I had a 100 customers like them.
