Yep these fookers lie...sorry I mean LIE.

2 hours my ass.

So many factors mostly climate and the outdoor humidity. Inside soiling conditions, air flow and how thoroughly you clean the carpet.

Anyone can give it the 1 pump chump but is that cleaning? Most likely not and unless you have a Vortex or Aerotech you're not going to dry like they do.

I tell people every day to expect 3 to 4 hour drying times. But when I'm through with a large job I will often find the first room feeling dry as I'm leaving.

That's with my 2 inch, hole glided wands.

This new 1.5 inch wand leaves it wetter.

Cody, I've never been to Utah but don't you usually have very low humidity much like where Mikes at?

Cody: Have you tied airmovers (Airpaths, Dripods, etc)?

x2 what @Johnny said.... If you're really concerned with getting faster dry times, have at least 2-3 air paths and place them as you move through your cleaning... Yes it does add time to the job, but not much when you have 2 people....

Sounds like with your vac hose setup, your dry times should be pretty quick.

One thing to check for slow drying is the max vacuum level at your machine.

What does the gauge read with your hand over the vac inlet ?

Cody, I run 6 01 jets (6 flow) or 6 1.5 jets (9 flow). Ti 2" wand with glides. 450-500 ish psi, depends on length of hose. I run Airpaths too. It can feel almost dry in places when I leave. BUT I always tell them they can go back to normal living in a couple of hours but I warn them to not move furniture off blocks or put any furniture on to the carpet until the next day. You can never get all the moisture out in the same day if you deep clean, especially RE.

Utah is the 3rd driest State in the Country.

It's been cool seeing the kid up the street grow up and become a cleaner like his Pop. How is your Dad?

Wait are we doing 12 flow or 6? I sell all my 1.5 inch wands and whip hoses now everyone is back to 6 flow and tiny hoses.
Gotta sell the 870 now. Geez it's hard not to be a hack.
Maybe bane was right all along.
Actually I'm kinda happy. I was about a year away from a 2.5 inch titanium wand with 24 flow and 3 inch main vac lines.

Cody, check out the dri pods. They are stackable and less than half the price of an airpath. Easy to carry in to a job and they really help your dry times. Average dry times for a residential carpet that has been heavily presprayed and flushed well is usually 8-24 hours without any extra drying efforts.
