I have to agree..that's a huge thing being able to close the truck up and clean in the dumping rain!!

I built a rain cover that stretches between the doors to cover the machine and the guys in the rain and the back doors to but the windows have to stay closed..it sucks for sure..

I was looking at doing the same thing... Some type of awning for the back doors... For guys with the slide in's who can't close up their trucks, a security gate like the stores in the mall would be pretty cool... Have it on a track system and roll it down and lock it when you walk away.... Help to keep your tools from walking away...

I think it's a cool idea, and I've worked in some really shady hoods in the past and nobody has ever laid a finger on my truck... maybe I'm just lucky?

I have long thought that Jim Martin owes it to us to get his (non-existent) ass off the truck and start building these kinds of things.

I've never ran direct drives, but are van engine and trans rebuids the NORM on 6-7000 hour trucks??? :confused::confused:
