waste tank filter

i run the inline pool filter with the nee high on the steel filter but i also have the filter in side of the waste tank. is that over kill it came with my set up do i really need it. i check it at times i also have a knee high on it but it really has any thing on it???

I run 2 blower filters in my waste tank and they are also covered with a knee high....

I also use the pool filter like you described......I would not remove my filters from the tank because if by chance something happened and the knee high inside the pool filter broke it is all heading to my tank and
my blower would not be protected.....As long as filter in the tank is not collecting anything and breathing ...then I would not even worry about it......
