It seems you are asking about the Spot Claw tool rather than the tools for water damage restoration.

When flushing a stain, I like to place the claw over the spot and use a hose (maybe my solution hose with a valve on the end) to introduce water around the outside of the stain. This is pulled through the face yarns and into the tool.

If urine or some other staining material has reached the cushion (padding) then you can saturate the area with your cleaning solution, give it time ot work and extract using the Spot Claw.

We use these all the time - just something to keep in mind, dependant on the chems used, you may need to rinse the same way you cleaned, we have had ph browning issues before, rinsing to neutralize afterwards has almost always prevented that call back for us.
