tried dem all for work and fishing....
neoprene if your hands are getting wet in winter
(rolling in snowy hoses)
they don't hold up tremendously well for work though .
and you'll go thru a couple/three pair a winter if at all busy
But you could stick your hands in a bucket of water on a 10 below day
wool gloves .
Bulky, but wool still insulates when wet
Fleece ..the next best thing to wool.
Less bulky
when I fished winter steelhead, I determined fleece was the best of all options .
and carried two pair...one I kept under my shirt against my chest to keep warn ...and rotated as necessary
for work, I determined the DeWalt lt wt* winter work gloves were the best all around option
fleece lined for some warmth, but still dexterous enough to work in and held up much better than neo for work
*note, they make a couple different kinds of winter work gloves, the heavy/bulkier insulated and the lt wt insulated
