I have a customer who has a wall to wall seagrass carpet. Similar to sisal. when he was showing his house someone moved wet outdoor furniture and placed in on the carpet leaving a water mark. there is no dye just the water stain.

Hard to believe that this "stain" came from some wet furniture judging by the shape and size.
How do you know that there is no dye in this stain?
Stain looks to be so much darker than the "source" ie the surrounding carpet unless some brilliant designer had put a much darker backing material on the back.

I would have done a one or two drop test with some water in a closet corner to see what resulted.

Josh;

A powder reducing agent like our FiberBrite would definitely improve the rug.

It is also the safest procedure to use.

Larry is that like a coffee remover product?

David
It is a minor ingredient in well-formulated coffee removers.

The advantage of the FiberBrite is the concentration can be controlled for the job at hand.

The discoloration on this rug would require a higher concentration than available from the effective coffee stain removers.
