wax on hardwood

Looking at a hardwood prefinished floor with what looks like a thin layer of wax, may be mop and glow or something similar . I am wondering what is the best way to remove this .

I dealt with one like this in February by using the CRB then a 175. The tile brush on the CRB with neutral cleaner to really scrub the soil out, then the 175 with a red pad and light misting of water to scrub off whatever flakiness remains.

It takes time but does not hurt the finish. In fact, it leaves the finish well compounded and glowing.
