Web Listing/www.yellowpages.com

For 24 bucks a month I could be the 5th listing on their site. The four above me are Sears. Not in the area. A maid service. Service Master 1800 web page. Fourth I think is a OP Hack. Should I do it. Sales guy said they are getting over 100 searches for "cedar rapids carpet cleaning" What do you guys think?

Why would anyone want to advertise with their competition?

With a little work you are likely to have Waldo.com rating as high as your localyellowpages.com for carpet cleaning searches.

In my area my website is 9 slots higher than yellowpages.com (Yellow pages is on page 2 I'm on page 1)

My site is also higher ranked than;

Dexknows
Merchant Circle
Service Magic
and Super Pages

On the web raking is king!

You don't need those other guys to just dilute your marketing message.

Forget them and go competition free with your own website.
