LOL Bruce- I guess if he said he was taking it out of one old van and putting it into another old van it wouldn't have sounded as good, though would have been more accurate.

Ken, c'mon. If BOB says it's an old truck, it must be like a '79 model with bug eyes or something..

Everyone stand clear and give the man some room. Because he's going to start throwing wrenches and cussing like a sailor after about two hours into the project. :)

So basically, the old machine is getting a NEW van and the old(ish) van is getting a NEW machine.

That makes a new van and a new machine, right Bob?

Only you keeping dropping letters off the end of words and everytime you type NEW, MP should have a word sensor specific to you that changes it to NEWer

John :?

DO NOT owe him money or he will kill you!
He works at the local speed shop by day and works for me nights and weekends....a better engine builder you'll not find.....he builds all my small block 302s wit out the computer......jus pay him when he's done...and all is good!

i am extremely fortunate to have Billy on call......

Gee Willacurs, Bawby, Looks like you got a newly recoditioned frame and control panel all set to go. You gonna make this one lika new too???? Looks like that there SS wanner just needs some new blue on it, degeease da blower and give it a shot of grey, a little spit an polish, maybe a little black on them there pulleys and shafts.

Going from a Ford to a Chevy, what are your changes going to entail??

When my Jem was taken out of the 92 and put in the 97 (Different style engine) both Fords, the shaft had to move from drivers side to passengers. Blower stayed the same, but the pump had to be moved to a new location under cowling.

Changes are primarily the bracket that mounts the Drive shaft to the motor of the van....every thing else is the same!
You always mount the driveshaft FIRST...then the machine it mounted to that.....

it's going in right now...i'm taking pictures!
