Because it attracts dirt and should only be used to fill gas that will never see water, flexing or daylight for that matter

prosoco sureklen dicone dc9 or dc15 will help dissolve the silicone

at least it will come out easily wont even have to saw it. really just supposed to be used where you would use silicone like tub/wall joints etc
