Home Service Industry... ok...
I clean carpet and I clean lots of tile and grout. These services are done in homes and at commercial properties. I also seal grout and counter tops in new construction.
Each thing I like for different reasons. Residential work is about the relationship...I enjoy the conversation...being told how good we are compared to...everybody else here. The commercial work is either larger job, nice stress free fill work or serving an account...we have several now that serve the upscale clients...easier work and much better money. The grout sealing of new construction is great money and easy. If you live in an area with new residential construction going on you should add it. Ceramic tile grout needs to dry 3 days to dry before sealing so installers aren't interested in going back to do it...granite counter tops and showers... easy when it's brand new. Boiled down I guess I just like the challenge/fun of being in charge of my own life...ok, I'm married so I'm sort of in charge of my own life...not as bad as Chavez though.

I don't work well with others. I'm the boss. The only people I have to please are myself and the customer. Being on my own schedule so I can be at all of my daughters baseball games, band concerts and award ceremonies.
