I wouldn't argue with Ken's system because first: He is a lot more successful than I and second: it works for him. But, that being said i don't see how it is so difficult to pay hourly and track performance. If you need 800 per truck per day day to pay x amount per hour then just track it by day and come up with a monthly average to come up with a fair hourly wage. My time cards that the Aces fill out indicate hrs carpet cleaning and sales carpet cleaning, and so on for each of our main services. At a glance I can see production numbers and over a longer period of time I can make pay adjustments as they are earned.
