A little easier to get my cimex and CX-20 in and out of the van since I dislocated my shoulder 9 days ago. I am looking at getting one of these. Harbor Freight has them for about $200.00.

Looks like a PITA and in the way when you want to get of other things out of the back. To make it work with a cheap motor it probably has a worm gear that actuates it real slow.

Will it clear van doors? Would you have to drop it to open the doors?

I believe it will work out. I have to deal with a shoulder had has to heal....I believe I will have to drop it to open the doors. That is what I will have to deal with.

An alternative might be an electric pickup crane, also available from Northern and Harbor Freight. Mount in corner of van, swing it out of the way. Make a sling for the machines.

I installed a pick up crane. It is doable.....I can do it by myself.

I might have to get Helen something like that, she is starting to complain that the remps are to steep for her to push the cimex and rug cart up.. and lift my big ass up in the van if I don't slow down...Hell I ain't been in a bosons chair in 35 plus years, sumten you never forgets..
