And how much torture and headache are you willing to put yourself through to reduce their expectations by a few minutes?

-Running 8 to the door
-17 in of lockdown inducing lift
-Setting up fans in every room as you clean
-2 inch wand setups ripping apart your 50-year-old elbows
-using rotary extractors on clean carpet to make up for your lack of personality
-9, 12, 16, flow of fresh tank wasting, 800 PSI
flushing
pad drenching overuse of water
-a ear damaging motor large enough to drive a sedan when the lawn mower engine will do..

And no matter what you're still leaving some dirt behind on anything but a one year old carpet in Pasadena...

I just talked to my second job today which is a caretaker for a 90-year-old guy that lives in a hundred year old house that the German Shepherd has been destroying for years, and she's convinced a professional can do better than her Rug Doctor.

If if if.... I decide to take this on they're going to get amazing dry times.

OP for the wizzy win

You walked? pansie

Dude, the old dude couldn't afford to replace. so it's either, leave the shit and piss there or clean it and make it better if he has to walk bare foot on it. Don't give me this, "there's bacteria breeding when it gets wet", bullshit. It's currently wet now with his piss.

1. Do a quick water extraction
2. Treat with antimicrobial/surfactant
3. hot water extract again
4. Put a light mist of antimicrobial on it
5. Tell him to stay off it for 4-6hrs.

6. It's better than it was before

First set appropriate expectations, VLM procedure with a peroxide boost, light spray of Odorcide at an appropriate dilution, collect the check.

Why did you walk? They wanted the carpets cleaned and they ain’t never replacing the subfloor.

I'm there to clean the carpet, it's up to the customer to get it dry. I do as many dry strokes as possible. I explain drying options for them, then it's on them.

Why did you walk?

Severely impacted with 30 plus years of dry soil.
Severely flooded with urine and chems
Poor ventilation
Dried piles of diarrhea all over.

I would have had to charge $1000 to make it worth cleaning all my tools and tank, and the finished results might have been worth $100.

Not my thing.

You clean for RMc house.
But for an old guy.
One of the world's finest.
Let's some hack do instead...
All Glory is fleeting an one day that old man could be you.
Service overall...
But your decision not mine.
Personally I would have done the best job possible.
Then said free...

Easy to say from the bleachers

Pops needs to go into a home
Dog needs a new family
Home needs to be bulldosed.

I dont carry bacteria-cides for a reason.

Had there not been piles of diarrhea all over, his and the dogs, I would have padded it with Saigers Oxycap.

All you can do there is make it more hospitable.

Soaking that carpet is the last thing one should do.

I would’ve brushed in some of encapstore’s new encap enzyme.

I did that for an old guy last month. He knew I couldn’t get ride of all the cat pee, he just wanted it to smell better while he saved up for new carpet.

Called him two weeks after my hack job and he was still grateful, as he could watch TV without smelling cat piss.

Picking up fans from 3 different houses I left Friday-Saturday. No charge. Fast dries and the smaller fans are easier for the customer to move or leave out on the porch. They love it, especially when the first rooms are dry before we leave. Been noticing and getting complements more now since using the Greenglide, about dry times.
