And the maintenance staff at one of his stops decides to strip the terrazzo floor and it goes wrong....?

One of our existing clients has the Pope scheduled for a stop at their location. Got a call that they need the terrazzo fixed ASAP. Staff tried stripping it and it didn't work out so well. We head there tomorrow to see what we can do to make it right and pretty it up. 2,000 sq. ft. foyer/entrance area.

Can't share the location and no photos will be allowed, but we will keep you posted as to how it goes. High profile and could be a HUGE door opener for us if it all goes well!!

No cameras/phones are even allowed. We have to check them at the door or leave in the truck. I wish we could....but not taking the chance between their security and the Secret Service being around. Don't want to mess up this opportunity!!

Polishing rather than recoating will give more chances of being the hero

Yes, we already have this in the works. We will know once we see it what it's going to take. Not sure if we will have the time to polish it prior to the big event and may have to just get to to look better than it does.

You have a certain one you prefer....Cheetah, Monkey, Twister....

chetah pads are a waste of money. Monky pads aren't terrible, depending on the price. Twisters are good. We use PolyPad Plus, which are the ones we sell. I think a lot of them are made by the same company. Just don't spend more than $60 per pad.

yes they are. I just don't think any of those impregnated pads really justify a price tag of more than $60. Ours our Unique mainly because they are blue. They work really well and I feel like they are a little better than most, but that opinion varies based on who you talk to. Twisters work well, as well as several other brands.

and a lot of people call angry that we sell the 3" separately, that the 17" should come with the 3" punch out. I agree, but the company takes them out and makes us buy them separately as well.

these are ours: http://www.easystonecare.com/Polypad-Plus-Synthetic-Diamond-Pads-17-Inch-p/plypd17.htm

I don't stock them, but I can get these pads from Italy that are pretty badass. They aren't cheap, but they are called SpongeLux from Klindex. The final pad is actually a compressed 5x polishing pad. They can only be used on flat floors, not tile with lippage. They are perfect for maintaining commercial terrazzo and tile that's been ground flat.

here is a spongelux video:

you can use them on autoscrubbers:
