For us it has to be using disposable plastic as tarps to clean rugs on site. Mike did a call YEARS ago about this and we have been using it sense.

We used to take most rugs with us, the wife is much happier now!

Also, a shout out to Mr Lockheart(?) for the t&g tips over the years. Defiantly took the fear out of floor stripper.

I can't really think one one single thing, more of a collection of a ton of little things..

I tried the plastic under rugs and it was a pain in the ass for me, or do you put it under after the rug is cleaned? My wand would just keep sucking up the plastic pissing me off..

Keith, after placing the plastic sheet under, I fold excess under rug, clean, wipe the moisture from wood and pull the plastic out shortly thereafter. A little of a hassle but I price it in.

That way you don't have to deal with the plastic being sucked in by the wand, which is a pain.

Getting thicker plastic can also help. The super thin stuff rips and make a horrible sound when the wand hits it.

Pretty much everything know about carpet lol.
But the 2 big ones. Don't buy an amtex, get a Cobb instead. Mike's video sold me on it.
Also to buy a crb. A different forum almost had me convinced to buy a Oreck orbiter instead. I worship at the altar of CRB now..
