I have to say I've thoroughly enjoyed the Mikey's Fests that I have attended. Working beside people like Bob Pruitt, trying out Marks (Saigerized) Butler, using Eriks's SS Zipper, Tom's Devastor wands, meeting the inventor of the turbo hybrid, the Studebaker fans and on and on. I've been in the business for 40 years and learn more in a single Mikey's Fest than all of my IICRC courses together. Amazing to see all the vendor support like Legends Brands, Rotovac, etc. Being able to sit down with like minded people over dinner or a beer or 2 or 3, nerding out on equipment, techniques, chemistry and so on. Meeting some of the characters on Mikeys Board like Lee Stockwell, (who I didn't spend nearly enough time with) some who have been business for years and others just starting out. For anyone who love what they do and can never find enough people to share it with, this is your best opportunity. You've seen your customers eyes glaze over when you start talking about your equipment or chemistry, yeah, that doesn't happen here. Hopefully this covid 19 gets done with so the Mikey's Fests can resume under normal conditions. You'll never regret attending.

You know I'm still surprised at how many people don't know what an Arnold Palmer drink is by now

I like to mess with waitresses and order a "Tiger Woods"

when I get that look I tell them it's like an Arnold Palmer but heavy on the iced tea..

Lucky you don't get a golf club upside the head like Tiger.

I’ve enjoyed the few fests I’ve attended over the years, but I don’t drink alcohol, which is necessary to have fun at these things, apparently, so I don’t attend very many.

We have lots of people who don't drink. They still come to dinners and blab all night.

i’m probably more reclusive than you Marty. In Nashville I had dinner with Scott and Darcie twice; otherwise I went to the gym and got room service.

You don’t have to party at night to enjoy the experience.
