Would someone notice the vacuum strength difference with an Aero tech compared to the big slide ins (870— Everest)?

would it be a game changing difference I. Anyway over these machines?

I like the rolling billboard idea of the truck and I heard they are extremely reliable

what’s the life expectancy of the XT units?

I'll tell you what. When this van shortage shit is over with I'll let you know. I'm planning on getting a DDS when I can.

If you are dual wanding 60% or more of the time, go for it

If you are a multi service provider and need all the extra room but only single wand, have AT build up a rig, minus the TM and place a slide in in it's place. You can do this with a gas option as well.

Oil changes, brake jobs, tires.. everything is considerably more expensive than a van

This

I have never agreed with this but I will admit you have more experience so maybe I’m wrong but I always notice a difference with the bite
Find a tm that has a 45blower being powered by a 3or4 cylinder engine and you’ll see a difference

If it has a lawnmower engine, you won’t be able to tell a difference

While this is true it requires around 14hp to run a 45 blower maxxed out (spec)..........and that is "electric"

add in driveline losses, ICE losses (curve) especially on mid-HP engines, and the pump and the blower might start to care because the HP isn't actually available at the blower .........unless it is underdriven

yep, mine starts to care on flood extractions

Im set at 16" vac relief and 100ft of hose on a flood it gets to 16"

*20hp kohler starts to bog just before vac relief

Put prochem performer next to a legend SE and you'll notice a difference. I think they have the same blower.

When the hose is full of water on 200' + from steady wanding, that's the difference. How fast that water is recovered

The RPM will slow down when under full load on the smaller engines. I've seen it on several different size machines. From a little Legend and 370 to my current 650hp and Thermal wave

More is more, as JarhED pointed out, so obviously they're "not the same"

BUTT....since you've had and run both, you should be able to answer if there's any "practical" difference in efficiency, efficacy and dry times that makes it worth the additional costs and body wear of a "harder sucking" mega mount
