I'm impressed with the suck on my "New" to me CDS 4.8. It's pretty damn good. I've finally got the van to where I can work out of it without cursing all the time because none of the fittings are uniform. I've got a lot to do on installing the waterpond and APO. I found the wires for the APO but scratching my head on the water transfer switch wires. I think I may have a bad switch. I'll keep poking around with my volt meter.

As far as driving the Lima Bean Special, it certainly smaller than my Promaster. I feel like a sharp shooter. I can get in and out of places no problem.

My feral cat has done about 20 jobs with the Lima Bean. I don't know how he functions with how everything was setup. I just couldn't handle it. I spent yesterday pulling out every last piece of hose and equipment and rebuilding from scratch. Yes Mikey, I even now have 25' 4 to the door that you love to laugh at me about. So much fun!

The solution hose that came with the van was a bit of a joke. It's some type of orange hose that feels like a balloon when under pressure. It likes to kink and has a memory to it so it likes to coil up. I took off the first 100' and replaced it with new. I'll keep the Balloon line onboard as backup.

The machine came with a Blistor filter. Let me tell you, that thing is such an awkward POS to work with. Tom's filter is so much better in so many ways. But until I can plop down the money, I'm stuck with a Blistor. Can someone start a go-fund-me for me?

How the waste tank lid gasket?

I had 8 or 9 CDS' at Coit, most had issues with the lid

The only experience I have with blowers larger than a 47 has been at the Experience, Mikey's Fest's and customer appreciation days. I have picked up the wand on Aerotech's, Everest's and 870's and at full power it is very difficult to move the wand. Probably most guys when single wanding, turn the machine down, other wise it's going to be hard on your body. Personally, I have owned 36, 45 and 47 blowers in direct drives and slide ins. My two currents trucks are a CD4.2, which is a 45, I believe and a Cleanco with a 47. There is a big difference between the 2. The Cleanco is probably about as powerful as you want for a single wand unit. The connector from the blower to the waste tank is 4 inches. Vac relief is set at 14 inches hg. Using the Cleanco Titanium wand, (which is made by PMF) you get instant lock down on most carpet. You need to use a rounded (Green Glide) to have your wand working smoothly. I have a Westpak with a Greenglide that works great with it. For better performance, rather than looking for bigger blowers, you would be better off looking for a better wand like a Devastator or a Sapphire. I would say the same about the Butler max vac or the CDS 4.8.

Got me a Dev Filter today. No need for a gofundme. So happy to get rid of that Blistor suck fest.

I’ve got one just like that. The top is broken. When you see Tom next, ask him if replacement tops are available. I’m talking about the lid.
The filter I have is a new less expensive prototype. It has interchangeable parts. It should be easier to fix if parts break. Marty. Send me a pic of your broken filter. I might have a lid.

Is this the new one I think the call it an SV with the 48 blower ? I would like to try that thing out compared to a big slide in

As far as how much better can it be I feel a lot better I always get better results with bigger machines or at least I think I do 🤷
