to top dress vct. A custy wants me to come over and top dress a vct floor that has four coats of wax that has been down for six months. What is the going price for sq.ft. Thanks Mike

so it will be just a scrubb and recoat?

if so how many coats?

what product will you be using?

does it have deep scratches?

I was thinking just a white pad and high speed buffer, with some spraybuff

What I would do is at least hit it with the 175 some good floor cleaner and a blue pad. That should take off the top coat of beat up dirty wax. Then hit it with your spray buff and pad

you should charge 10-15 cents based on overall condition. you should clean the floor very well, then get some snapback (johnsons product ) mixed 1 part snapback to 2 parts water and spraybuff the floor using a uhs buffer. if the floor is a bit roughed up i would probably go ahead and use a combo pad or a hoghair pad. go in forward and reverse motion. on the foward pass spray the sprabuuf directly infront of the buffer making sure not to over wet the pad on the reverse pass go slow and it should come out great.
