I know there are lots of variables .....
but on "average" what percentage of the gross is profit? (net)

asking for the "norms" with a two man crew (lead tech well paid/with bennies) in a new loaded van cleaning at "normal" pricing ..$40-60 rm

grossing $170-$200K year

what percentage of profit is a reasonable expectation?

...l.t.a.

40%-50% with one van and a worker

Maybe 20-30% a little less the first year, but should move back up to around 50% in the next few years

That's the goal

Thanks Gene...all i'm tryin' ta say the tax system of our government is set up in such a way as to favor the the entrepreneur....a person who starts a business and is willing to risk loss in order to make money.......HOWEVER a person that "looses" money does NOT pay taxes!

Humm.. that might be possible If you an O/O and Not in California.

My Employee, benefits n burden cost are over 50%. I guess I could pay them less-- but I'd rather not deal with the higher turn-over, drama that comes with low wage workers.

My gross is about 15%--it might be time for another rate increase.

As an owner operator my expenses are about 60 to 65 percent, one van and a helper.
My taxes are about 7 percent of my gross. The rest is mine.
