When you say woolsafe.
Do you mean that it has the "WoolSafe" label (certificate.) Or safe for wool"?

Procyon is not woolsafe.

Chemspec DFC 210 is a powder pre-spray. According to Chemspe it is for wool also, however it does not carry the "WoolSafe" certificate.
Chemspec DFC 105 does carry the "WoolSafe" label, however it is a liquid.

If you want to improvise you can also use "Fiber Plus" by Bridgepoint. It is an inline detergent for delicate fabrics, not designed as a pre-spray, however it is a powder. (Don't remember if it's "WoolSafe.")

Well, while you're at it, ask Ray-
Why is it that DFC 105 has the "WoolSafe" label and DFC 210 does not?

And tell him to get his website up to 20th century standards (forget about the current century.)
Sheesh Ray. One can't even browse your products let alone buy from you on the net eat yor heart out Werner.

I guess he could call me too I've seen Jimmy naked

Planet Guard TLC, it's a powder and carries the wool safe lable according to JonDon, also it's very simular to if not the same thingas Chemspec DFC 210.

I use 1stenvirosafety colloidal organic cleaner and the PG TLC together for an outstanding and safe prespray, through in a few drops of peppermint essential oil and you have a powerful all natural prespray that smells great.

Interesting Jeff.
Both DFC 210 and Planet Guard TLC do not carry the "WoolSafe" label but they say it is safe for wool. And you're right, they do sound like they are exactly the same product. (And JonDon carries DFC105 but not DFC 210)

Why do you use "1stenvirosafety colloidal organic cleaner" in combination with Planet Guard TLC?

Couldn't find that product. Where do you get it (link Please.) Thanks

like Planet guard... it has no smell... at all! and for wool that is not down right nasty or other carpets as well.. it works great! But when in doubt and the wool is oober greasy... then hit it with 02 or Masterblend RAGE Presprayed and as emulsifier.

Ray called. I got the DFC stuff. Things are good with the universe.

And he's working hard on putting together a good internet site.
We sure have some good, hard working suppliers here in CA.
Ray is a class act and Carpet Maintenance Supply in Redwood city takes great care of their clients.

Jimmy, yes I'm an op cleaner and hwe.

Ofer, I use the colloidal cleaner as my main cleaner and use the PG TLC as a water conditioner/booster, but both are good cleaners on their own.
I get the colloidal cleaner from 1stenvirosafetyinc.com they have changed their name to Purley Green I believe.
I buy it in what they call the 100% solution it's a super concentrate, cost about $70 a gal, I break that down to 8 gal. of what I use as 32 to 1 concentrate.
You won't find the carpet cleaning product on the web site you have to call and ask for the 100% carpet solution.

I'm looking for an everyday residential cleaner with virtually no smell.

I am leaning towards Jon Don's Matrix Grand Slam fragrance free.

Any better ideas?

Daniel;

Most liquid presprays WILL have an odor from the water-compatible solvents included for grease removal.

That is the reason most have a fragrance added to achieve a pleasant residual.

A powder prespray is probably the closest thing to a fragrance-free prespray.

A actual powder formulator can leave out the fragrance for a minimum order (~ two 45# pails).

Richard,
Fiberglow (if I am not mistaken) is a peroxide based cleaner. I would not recommend using it on wool. Definitely not WoolSafe.

Its all right not gonna bust a move like trashed green!

The rinse is great of course I should try both together

The DFC products cost less then Jondon and are more concentrated. at least the dfc 105 is as a rinse.

I keep some on the truck for Hypo allergenic guy! Just use water I'll die I swear! ok I used water, oh thank You! eat shit!
