What the heck is this??? Scale? Chems?

Any idea what this crap might be? If you zoom in it looks like little glass shards.

First time I've had anything like this in my filters.

Undissolved rinse products? Scale? Rust?

Those schedule 80 iron coils always rust a bit or have a black oxide build up. Flush the machine before you hook up your pressure line.

DAM, he's good... Yea, after about one six pounder it started clogging crap up, it was bad. Go to work and machine won't spit.

Yeah, I now use liquid rinses and never had that issue again.

Nope, I have used flex ice since my machine was new and I get the same white grit plugging up filters. If I switch to liquid then no plugging

When I was using another powdered rinse I saw a lot of variation from batch to batch. It was also causing some mold issues on outdoor furniture and carpet.

Since I switched that problem went away.

Some products have a polymer to stop wicking,

Liquid slurry and dry slurry did it to me liquid 90 leaves everything nice and clean.

But they say your supposed to run fresh water through your lines and bleed all the chemical out to prevent it.
