is a pre spray that radically loosens up impacted Encapsulant Shampoo/ ground in dirt residues.

Since buying my Cimex and OP machines I've impacted miles of CGD olefins with the "new" wonder system and the floors are starting to stink and look dull and matted.

I've HWE'd some and post padded but the pixie paste is still there.

Ricky, it's all your fault so get to work!

If I were to cut a 3 x 3 chunk of this Shampacted stuff and tossed it into Hyde's pit I would guess it would take well over a half hour of high volume flushing to run clean.

I have hopes for Keith Studebaker's wand.

If Bill can get that spray bar figured out and the plastic head transformed to titanium then you'll have an excellent shampoo blaster.

Huh?

The more you use the flakier it should get.

Undiluted encaps dry up nice and crisp.

Its the diluted left overs that can turn to goo.

Snake Oil is the crispiest of them all.

mikey i was just being a smart ass.i really have no clue.ive never experienced this issue and i use releasit on a library a couple times a year for the last 3 years.thats my best experience i have with it over time and i havent had any issues.

i actually use it at about half of the recommended use most of the time with cotton bonnetts now. i use to use just the grey pads but now i just use the bonnetts when im using releasit.

i also wonder if using hard water is a bad idea since it will leave calcium and whatever is in the water behind.yes the releasit should capsulate it but why add more to the equation.i try to use softened water for all my cleaning.

I see an opening for Bob Rock and his VS

the cylinder brush and some extraction does lend it's self as a better option than swirl grinding in dirt and pixie dust gravy

I had a very large contract 2 casinos each one was cleaned every 2 weeks.
We'd use TM's on the high traffic areas and encap low traffic areas.
Well, as you can imagine after 5 yrs of doing this we had a real case study the problem Mikey is talking about.
Gradually over time these areas lost the brightness of color ( it was a floral pattern ) and took on a sort of light gray overtone.

We'd use a Pile-Lifter, followed by a pre-scrub with a Cimex followed by a royal flush with a Steamin Demon and finished up with a cotton Pad under an OP machine. That was the most effective solution to this problem that we found. Preventative solution would be to steam clean long before it got that bad.
Prior to our starting on this contract the carpet was being replaced every 18 months and before our contract ran out the carpet had lasted 6 yrs.
So it's not all bad.
I raised the price enough to ensure that I would not get another 6 yrs of this impending nightmare.

The Robert Trent Golf Trail is a system of premier golf courses spread out from the top of Alabama to the south. The trail is known world wide for it's courses and many PGA and LPGA tourneys are played on the courses. Our course here in Prattville was ranked the 2nd of the top 5 courses on the trail. I have been maintaining their carpets since the first day they opened some 7 or 8 years ago.

I initially started out using encapsulation cleaning every three months. This worked fine for the first few years, but eventually the dull appearance that Tony mentioned started showing up.

Now I schedule one HWE into the schedule every year.

The carpet in those facilities are a dark green. It may be my imagination, but the carpet appears to be brighter after the yearly extraction.

And yes, the mud colored dump water is a dead give-away that the twice daily vacuuming the staff does ... does nothing to remove all the "crystals."

The guys in this area that do only commercial work admit they tried but can't get away with encap only. The rule is to extract for the first cleaning, encap three times, extract, encap three times...

Unless they're going to lose the contract anyway.

"It is just ...SKAMPOOING... :( "

For us old basTURDS...We have seen ALL this before...

It is JUST LAZY...and horrible for the carpet..The fiber HAS to be RINSED... :!:

WATER IS THE UNIVERSAL CLEANING AGENT....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you shower & NOT rinse...
Do you wash your clothes and NOT rinse...
Do you brush your teeth and NOT rinse...
Do you wash your car and NOT rinse...
Do you wash your dishes and NOT rinse...

YOU HAVE NOT CLEANED ANYTHING IF YOU DON'T "RINSE" WITH WATER.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maintaince CLEAN..."My ASS"... It is either clean OR it is NOT...

Detergents & Emulsifiers are designed to ASSIST the water by breaking up stains and suspending soil...FOLLOWED...by a "hot" water rinse ...if possible....

With the proper EQUIPMENT...there is virtually NO differance in DRY TIMES...!!!

It will not be long before the mills get their heads out of their ass....And FORBID this
process of cleaning AGAIN....

Why in the HELL...did everyone purchase these MONSTER cleaning units..? Only to SHAMPOO
& STEAM... Sell the basturds & get a 175 and a decent PORTY... :(

"HISTORY WILL ALWAYS REPEAT ITSELF...."

ps...TO have BIG TRUCK sitting on a job SITE...And PULL-OUT an EnCrAPPiNG machine...
IS THE WORST FORM OF "Bait & Switch"...

It is virtually impossible to take anything said seriously by someone who types as childishly as you do.

Sheese ...

Thank you....

We have cleaned many accounts using both systems, together they work great. Old school basturds like craper above needs to listen to the younger generations and quit stating their own opinion just because they don't understand something. Instead of bashing it, why not educate yourself and learn the good and bad. It's silly how someone w/ over 30 years of experience still thinks there's only one way to do things just because of what others have said and or some previous bad experiences from his own.

Learn how both methods can help you, if you don't want to...quit bashing and making yourself look stupid. There are a ton of people using it everyday....or you can continue to do your childish smiley faces that no one takes you serious.

Craper, if you're really going to give someone some real advice you won't tell them to sell their equipment and get a 175, if most use a cimex. My 175's don't touch carpets, but they're also made for hard surface cleaning.

History repeats. I cut my teeth on "shampoo" in its many varieties. It has its place.

However the new THEOLOGY of encap takes it to a new level. I have several encap, rotary, and OP machines. Not much dirt removal going on except when pads are used. They excell at appearance improvement but as Mikey pointed out at the top of this thread there is eventually a piper to pay.

The mud I dump from my waste tank is my witness.

Thanks,
Lee

Harpo and Marty both a lot in common - each, in his own way, desperately seeks to draw attention to themselves.

I shall pray for both of you, not that it will make a wit of difference.

The problem in my area are that every tom dick and harry have a cimex and run low budget crap thru them. One guy told me he gets his encapoo for 8 bucks a gallon. I still think you are driving the dirt down the fibers.

I wonder how the "original" crystal cleaning stacks up against the rest....Whittakers GLS Crystal Dry. They've been selling this method for well over 20 years. I looked at their system 20 years ago, but never did anything with it. Are their products getting the same results?? Does the Crystal Dry ugly-out the carpets??

Well....I'm off to my sons wedding reception. He got hitched this morning at 11:00, and the reception is at 7. I'm going to make sure I get a few drinks of the liquor that "Daddy" paid for!!
