What type of hose should be used?!?

Coming off a #4 Little Giant heater? I currently have a 25' of Goodyear Neptune 1/4" hose coming off it that I always leave connected, then I connect my 100' Paraflex after that... I was wondering if a 5'-10' of 3/8" hose would be less abuse on it or stick with 1/4" ? My current one is showing it's age and it's only a matter of time before a blowout....

Different connector size will be needed. Good idea though..

just switch it out a couple of times a year.

Buy a couple cheap hoses on ebay.

Then just put them on a schedule. When you change your blower oil, just change out your burner lead hose.
