Armen Dohanian teaches this three-day course that blends classroom theory with hands-on practice. Repair Class
Date: May 17-18, 2019 Location: Portland, OR - Renaissance Rug Cleaning Inc.

This is designed as an entry-level hand repair class, however, since this is at my shop and we have all the goodies
if a person comes in with basic unnerstands of repair we have no problem moving on to reweaves
Member Price: $975; Non-member Price: $1800
The class consists of two intensive eight-hour days. Fee for the class includes lunch for the two days, handouts, and all teaching materials.

- Istanbul - Carpet museums, Aya Sophia, Mosques, wholesale carpet dealers, covered bazaar, markets, and an much more.
- Bursa - Ancient silk production center
- Ayvalik - spend an evening on the Aegean coast
- Izmir - private tour of ATC - a premier carpet restoration facility. Ancient ruins of Ephesus, small village carpet production in Seljuk, visit a small neighborhood wash plant.
- Central Anatolia - Aksaray, Guzelyurt, Ilhara Valley with its ancient Christian Churches, and on by bus to Kayseri.
- Kayseri - Visit handmade carpet industry facilities scattered around the area.
- Istanbul - back again for more sights, shopping, and great food.
