At bedtime with my 2 daughters, my older one reading to me, and teaching the younger one how to read....

He’ll be three in September. My wife and I are late starters when it comes to being parents. I’m 45.
I could see the benefits to having them later. We know some folks who were even older an their kids are very wise beyond their years and very productive people

Today was a good day.
We have been running hard and booked hard.
I got done early and took the Grandbabies out on the pontoon.
Tossed out the anchor on one of the island sand bars.... Swam and swam...
Now overnight with two of the boys and watching the Grinch stole Christmas new version
That couple of hours on the lake I needed badly too!

Funny you should say that Mike. I KNOW I wasn’t ready in my 20’s, then, at 38 my first child was born. At 40, my second. My wife is 7 years younger than I, and she has relayed to me that she was very happy that she waited as well...
Just going to make it harder when they hit adulthood...
Such is life,
