Well considering there are thousands of varies of stone thats hard to say..Thats what makes this industry interesting and challenging at times.

but with that said I can think of a few situations that were difficult. here are a few

China black can be difficult to polish if you dont know the tricks
Green marbles sometimes can be a challenge
black absolute grainte takes a special polishing technique
Thasos White can be difficult to match the finish.

and the list goes on and on. These are also the type of stone that I have mastered over the years nd have teached in my classes.
