What's the small print in Butler's TEN year warranty?

I've always thought warrantees should last longer than they do, especially given that leases run FIVE or more years.

TEN years sounds great, what's the catch?

In a nutshell, they have extended the 5 year Limited Warranty components ( waste tank, reels, supply tank, shelves ) out to 10 years

most moving parts are still 1 year

and if you don't fill out the logs and mail them within a month of each yearly anniversary, you're then out of warranty

I love Butler TMs , but the 5 or now 10 year warranty extension doesn't factor into my buying decision

Fact is...Butler's have a better chance of lasting ten years than most others in our industry.

There has been a LITTLE movement toward raising the bar with recent two year warranties.

Lately you can't be sure the companies will last that long.

Thanks,
Lee

I don't know about the 10 year warranty but the 5 years covered lots of moving parts. I've had heat exchangers paid and a drive shaft paid for with it but most moving parts outlasted the warranty.
