Sure, I think you were just nostalgic.I have 2-buildings under my management on campus. All the other buildings are managed by campus facilities.
I have 2 large conference/ballrooms and 10 smaller meeting rooms and multiple office suites and the bookstore that are carpeted. Most of it doesn't get very soiled, food and drink spills mostly.
Its our tile and grout that needs daily attention and we cover that area with a Chariot ride on scrubber. Takes the custodian 90-minutes a day or so.
They just wouldn't invest that kind of money for carpet cleaning. They love walk behind portables so that any student male/female can clean carpet with ease.
I was cleaning because we had a large Christmas banquet and the custodians and students were busy preparing for it. I had the time and it allowed them to do other things.
Well, yeah it's about efficiency!Damn Keith you are a good salesman!
It will be faster and easier than a snowblower.
That's what I told her!It will seriously pay for itself.
It's not a lie...it will just take 10-15 years.That's what I told her!
you can't because the trails are off limits or privately owned? We do have trails, but I can't ride like you can.. Winter is just riding on the lakes.. I would love to live where you do, but it's too late now.. I'm stuck here!
that says 850, not 650...yikes, duct tape your feet to the pegs
No, they just aren't out my back door.. The closest good trails are an hour 20 minutes from here..you can't because the trails are off limits or privately owned?
You're right. It's probably only 95%.It's a physical job but to say 98% of the 30,000 plus cleaners out there don't know how to do it correctly.
Last time, was a couple of weeks ago.
I cleaned several areas with a porty. Hated the cheap ass wand, hated filling and dumping, hated the 350 low pressure, hated the dual 3-stage vacuum. It was everything I hate about portable cleaning and MORE!
lolYou're right. It's probably only 95%.
Most trade people are professionally trained where in cc most guys just learn from another hack or no where at all.lol
Only in the carpet cleaning industry are egos so fragile that owner ops think they have no equals.
You don't see that among plumbers, electricians, carpenters and painters. Only carpet cleaners!
You’re not a Larry
So don’t talk about trade people
Idiot
So professional carpet cleaning on all the vans is just a farce? Most trade people are professionally trained where in cc most guys just learn from another hack or no where at all.
Do you mean when I started at Stanley? I was actually taught by a guy who was pretty damn good at cleaning. So professional carpet cleaning on all the vans is just a farce?
Plus who trained you guys? Since the other 30,000 guys didn't get the memo as to whom was professional enough to train from.
So he was a 1% or .5%?Do you mean when I started at Stanley? I was actually taught by a guy who was pretty damn good at cleaning.
You don't see that among plumbers, electricians, carpenters and painters.
