I see countless videos by guys new and old using the ( best selling) AW29.

I never used one day to day, just out of curiosity..

Why did you stop using yours? showimg.png

I still use mine. I put a green glide on it and it went from a pos to a useable wand. I use it mainly with my portables. I like the wand size, great for apartments. I use the mach 12 and a 2 inch westpak with the trucks but the aw29 with glide makes a great back up wand.

Way too small for this oaf

Loss of heat

Head too high

Not great recovery
Perfect for my height. 5' 10". Great for getting into tight spaces like closets and small hallways. Recovery is an issue, compared to the mach 12. The glide improves recovery. Just go a little slower or add dry strokes. With a 6 flow, heat loss is minimal. There are a few versions of the aw29. Some are a lower profile than others. Cheapest wand you can buy if you need a spare but it will never be as good as a premium wand.

AW29 is one of the greatest wands in the history of the world
But not in the hands of those that blow 450-500+ PSI and "saw" square yard sections with trigger keyed

I have the low profile Westpak version. It gets under furniture great and cleans really good with those jets close to the carpet. I only use it in cluttered furniture houses. I prefer the single jet Hydrahoe in open areas. For some reason it feels better to the old back muscles.

I've got an unglided unused AW29 wand sitting in my garage, it came with a porty 6 months ago..
no idea what it cleans like?

I was thinking of trying it for the occasional cess pit where I refuse to vacuum
