Referrals, then people finding me somewhere on the net. Just had one today who said that on Facebook someone said that I was the best local carpet cleaner. Not sure who said it but they're right.

Busy enough you don't want or need more business?
Too busy these days. Just did a one room job for the parents of another customer. $150 and both the father and son are fighting over who will give me the tip. So, both of them have me $20 each. Picked up a couple of rugs, need to pick up a couple more but it's out of my area today. 1 more job this afternoon then I have to clean rugs. I am booked solid until August 9 when I am taking a short vacation on Vancouver Island. Have several jobs after that and by the time I'm back, the rest of the month will be booked. I still have several large condo buildings that I have to schedule in before the end of summer as well.

A multi surface owner op should be at $400 +
How did you arrive at that number? How much a day? How many days a week? Month? Winter months?

Sounds totally ridiculous for the average one man band. I'm sure there are a handful of cleaners in the country that are able to do that, but not a realistic average number in my opinion.

I asked Bryan..

He said 500 to 600

250k to 500k homes
1k a day
There are ONLY 261 week days a year.

Winter in this area of the country pretty much shuts down January, February, even March is slow but I'll give you 1/2. So subtract 10 weeks of no cleaning (50 days) and you're $201,000.00

But I bet its still high, not average.and a far cry from 400k Hombre! šŸ¤

"They say" you should be able to do $400k

"They" just can't explain how.
You just can't trust "Them" anymore. šŸ¤
